Boutique accommodation in Ballycastle
Stay at Yarn. A collection of stylishly curated suites in the heart of Ballycastle on Northern Ireland’s North Coast.
Designed by stylist Lucy Holt, the space pairs bespoke furniture, natural materials and carefully chosen pieces by Irish makers to create a calm retreat for slower stays on the Causeway Coast.
Yarn's accommodation embodies high-end quality and meticulous attention to detail. Clean lines, earthy hues and Scandinavian simplicity are in subtle contrast with the building’s bank merchant past.
Expect heritage linen, handpicked vintage dècor and mid-century loungers. Each suite is thoughtfully curated right down to the delicate bunches of locally foraged wildflowers in antique stoneware jars.
Guests staying at Yarn can also explore workshops, live music, retreats and cultural programming throughout the year, all taking place downstairs in the building.

Creative stays on the Causeway Coast

Each suite has been carefully designed using natural materials, vintage furnishings and locally crafted details, creating calm and comfortable spaces for coastal weekends, creative retreats and longer stays on the North Coast of Northern Ireland.
Our intentional interiors feature
eco-friendly elements like solar panels and bespoke furniture crafted from locally sourced wood.
Our Enzo Mari-inspired bedside tables and wardrobes, made from salvaged wood from the old bank premises, were built on-site by our friend and furniture maker Ed Hyde.
