Naturally Dyed Napkins - Workshop

In this workshop with Belfast-based artist Fiona Nicholson, you’ll explore the craft of working with natural dyes, learning how to extract colour from plants and apply it to fabric. With Fiona’s guidance, you’ll dye two cotton or linen napkins to take home.

About the facilitator:

Fiona Nicholson is a Belfast-based artist and maker whose practice is deeply connected to the natural world. Her work explores sustainable processes and celebrates the colours and textures found in nature through the making of natural inks and dyes. She is dedicated to reducing waste and embracing slow, mindful making. Through her art, she invites others to reconnect with the land and consider more harmonious ways of living and creating.
