Natural Dye Workshop: Bandana / Neckerchief Dyeing

Using flowers, leaves and foraged plants, you’ll design and dye your own botanical neckerchief or bandana, learning natural dye techniques of steam and bundle dyeing that can be used again at home. The process is experimental and rooted in seasonality.

All materials provided. No previous experience necessary.

About the facilitator:

Fiona Nicholson is a Belfast-based artist and maker whose practice is deeply connected to the natural world. Her work explores sustainable processes and celebrates the colours and textures found in nature through the making of natural inks and dyes. She is dedicated to reducing waste and embracing slow, mindful making. Through her art, she invites others to reconnect with the land and consider more harmonious ways of living and creating.
