About
Every Tuesday starting 20th January for 6 weeks
Sessions booked as a 6-week block
Ages: 8-12 years
Join us after school at Yarn for a six-week course that helps young creatives explore new techniques and deepen their core drawing skills. This term builds on our previous Foundations in Art course, but there’s no need to have attended the first one to take part.
Through weekly 90-minute sessions packed with discovery and expression, children will develop core artistic skills while experimenting with materials, tools and techniques. This 6-week course will help kids build their creativity and a deeper understanding of the visual world.
The course is led by Naoise McGeer, an experienced art educator. She brings a gentle, student-led approach to her teaching, creating space for every child to explore their own style and ideas.
All materials provided.
Start Date: Tuesday 20th January
Note: No class on 10th February due to school holidays
Time: 4.30 pm - 5.45 pm
End Date: 3rd March
